Installation of doctor blade

The correct installation of the Doctor Blade can avoid the blade breaking and extend the life of the blade. The blade holder and Back-Up blade must be kept clean. The company’s Doctor Blade must be mounted tightly into the holder. The Doctor Blade must be parallel to the Back-Up blade.

Angle and pressure

The optimum contact angle of the blade and the cylinder is between 60¡ã£-70¡ã, which allows for the least pressure on the blade tip and at the same time gives the best wipe. But the installation angle can vary according to the different printing-press, Doctor Blade holders and cylinder types. The ideal should be 200g/cm~250/cm
